This release is about the effort – experiment to create a rock band consisted of young children with classic musical education.

The bass player and founding member of KISS, Gene Simmons, was invited by the organizers of this, in a way, reality show, to become the schoolteacher who would contribute to the success of the above project.

The conditions were as follows:

-         10 students (13 years old each)

-         Musical education of classic music in high level

-         No contact with rock music up to then. Some of the children, in the beginnings, declared that they disliked this kind of music.

-         Place:  The musical school Christ's Hospital in England (West Sussex)  with a 450 year history. The students are living in the school. Strictest conditions applied. Number of students, 850 individuals. 

-         Objective:  In 6 weeks the new rock band has to play as the support act in Motorhead's show in London’s Hammersmith Apollo  (former Odeon).

-         Instructor  – schoolteacher: Gene Simmons of the legendary rock band KISS.

The first DVD includes the episodes from the series. We see all the progress of these young children from conservative to "die hard" rockers. The band’s name was CLASS. 

Gene Simmons (begins with statement “my job is to create little rock stars”)  generally does not caress ears, the language that he uses is sharp and strong. The same thing happens with these children. From the first moment he enters the classroom, he makes clear what his aims are and he states that it is also their own objective. It hangs posters from rock stars on the walls of the classroom, he makes them understand what words like "rock",  "cool",  "winner" mean in the world of rock music. He takes them to a Placebo concert in London in order to understand for good what they are up to. The work that's done in the team is hard and “painful”, considering that the time margins are narrow, hardly 6 weeks.  It's noteworthy that the children continued their regular study in their school. Many arguments arised between them, especially when the time comes that G. S. decides for the 5 persons from which the new band will be consisted. However, the remaining 5 undertook important roles (manager, stylists etc.) with essential actions. Fights were many and the children reached the point to dispute with G.S.

The result is awesome, the performance of CLASS as support in their Motorhead is successful (it's interesting how Lemmy interacts with the children before the show). 

In the second DVD, you'll find the extras. They're about the visit of the children to Los Angeles and the house of G. S.  where he entertains them, video diaries from G.S. from the hotel where he stayed during his visit in England (really bizarre situation), as well as certain other elements. There are no studios; multi-channel consoles etc, just instruments (drums, guitars, keyboards, bass).  That’s it!!!
