Saidian
Evercircle
Blistering Records
WOW! This was the first thing that rushed through my mind when I listened to the first notes of that third album by this German quartet. For all of you out there who didn’t have the chance to get to know Saidian (and after all, it is kinda hard to be familiar with every single band out there…), this is a band that revolves around melodic/symphonic power metal with an exceptional technical ability and a talent in compositions. “Evercircle” is comprised of 10 really good songs bearing the elements of speed, melody, catchy choruses and an overall inspiration that is rarely met nowadays.
Of special notice is the band’s first cover song…we’re talking about “Tokyo”, originally written in 1981 from a band called Tokyo (that was later renamed to the more recognizable Craaft…you know, the German 80s trio).
“Evercircle” is one of those great releases of the new heavy metal generation and it certainly worth our attention!
