The Dutch giants Focus will release the live recorded / recorded “Focus 50” on April 30 by Focus Records, which is distributed by Cherry Red Records.
The pandemic prevented the band from carrying out its plans to celebrate its 50th anniversary, which is being moved to 2022, along with the release of their new studio album.
“Focus 50” will include a double CD with their concert in Rio De Janeiro in 2017 and a Blu-Ray with the audiovisual material of the show. Also included is a bonus disc entitled “Completely Focused”, which is actually the band’s first album re-recorded from the current line-up, consisting of Thijs van Leer (keyboards, flute and vocals), Pierre van der Linden ( drums), Menno Gootjes (guitar) and Udo Pannekeet (bass).
