Still, Soundtruck are original! Being part of a scene with loads of every kind of heavy metal, and hard rock bands, Soundtruck are the ambassadors of a scene with a huge following everywhere in the world, as well as in Greece, but where in our country has very little bands playing their own material, if none!

Soundtruck’s music captures ideally Southern Rock, a bit of country, ‘70s and a bit less ‘80s rock. Their double guitar attack doesn’t leave a single doubt, while the dust this CD carries comes certainly from some American desert. The production is crystal clear allowing the band’s virtues to come forth, while their songs are pretty good. That last one is very important, as it’s the essence in any artist’s or band’s work, while all the rest are just the wrappings! By the way, the CD’s paper packaging looks great, as well as the booklet that matches perfectly Soundtruck’s attitude and sound.

The songs that stand out with the first spin are certainly “Ride On”, “Straight To Hell”, and “Take It Easy”. But, where you can see how much these boys have embraced Southern music is on “On The Run” with its wonderful female vocals, on the playful “High”, on the country-rocker “Sweet Little Babe” as well as on the closing track “Goliath” with awesome work on the harmonica. Well done to those guys that make us proud, especially in a time so rough like this.
