While Helstar has already made known the news about the signing with Alpha Omega Management and the imminent release of their brand new album “Vampiro” via Dave Ellefson’s EMP Label Group, we remind you that on the 9th of April the first single of the album called “Black Cathedral” will be available to the masses. As James Rivera and Larry Barragan pointed out out this is definitely a very promising year for the legendary band from Texas.
On a sidenote, Barragan informed us that Helstar’s longtime guitarist Rob Trevino was replaced by Andrew Atwood. For all the Helstar die hard fans out there, Atwood has a side band with Garrick Smith (Helstar’s bassist) called The Scourge. The band has already available an EP and they are working towards a full length album. We will keep you posted.
