At the beginning of Alice Cooper’s concert last Thursday, October 7, the guitarist of Nita Strauss’s band was hit on the head by Alice’s cane.
Essentially, what happened was that Alice Cooper slammed the cane on the monitors in front of him, as he always does, it broke and a large part of it spun around and hit Nita Straus who was standing a little behind playing her guitar on the head.
Nita joked about the incident later: “When I joined the Alice Cooper band in 2014, he gave me the same promise he gives all the touring band members: ‘You’re going to see the world, you’re going to get paid, and you’re going to get stitches.’ He left out ‘oh and you may get brained by flying broken cane pieces from the first song'”.
