Biff Byford begun recording his first ever solo album according to information that were published on Facebook by drummer Nicholas Barker. Except from the drummer, who already had recorded his tracks from the album, guitarist Fredrick Akesson (Opeth, Arch Enemy) will be also contributing. Recently, Biff told Finland’s KaaosTV that he was working with Akesson and that he’d like to have Tony Iommi, or Eddie Van Halen as guests! He already has seven songs written. As for the style, and how they will sound like? “It’ll sound like SAXON, ’cause I’m singing — you know, it’ll be my voice. But it’ll be a more diverse album — not quite so focused on heavy metal, but more diverse.”
