According to an interview of former Queen director, Rudi Dolezal, who have worked on at least 30(!) videos of the band a sequence of “Bohemian Rhapsody” is heavily discussed. The movie made more than $870 million all over the world and won 4 Academy Awards. Mercury’s close friend, Dolezal, also said that Jim Bleach, Queen’s manager, “plans a sequel that starts with Live Aid”. The idea of a second movie was brought up by guitarist Brian May last December on Classic Rock magazine: “I think Live Aid is a good point to leave it. Who knows, there might be a sequel”. Two more Queen-related films are on the way: “Freddie Mercury: In His Own Words”, a collection of Dolezal’s interviews with the singer; and “The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story”, which will air in April on ABC. Dolezal is also working on a book titled “My Friend, Freddie”.
