Can’t believe my ears!!! Fifteen years later German metalcore band Caliban is HERE and blossoms once more with a new release, the 8th full-length studio album entitled “I Am Nemesis”.

The band’s new album is heavy, aggressive, metalcore to the bone from the very beginning… Andreas Dörner (vocalist) screams “We Are Many” along with Marcus Bischoff (Heaven Shall Burn), Mitch Lucker (Suicide Silence) and Benny Richter (The Mercury Arc) and they are TOO many!!!! BEWARE!

This album integrates parts of their earlier sounds with that of their last album “Say Hello to Tragedy” (2009) and the outcome it’s truly a brilliant pop-metalcore album. Why pop? Even though it’s more structured, or at least I think it is, and prima facie there are twelve songs on the album, there may not be twelve completely independent and different songs and therefore some themes are so freaky similar! Nevertheless “I Am Nemesis” is not a mediocre album. On the contrary, it’s Caliban’s greatest comeback ever… full melodic metalcore punches on fans faces!!!

Besides “We Are Many” there are some rather noteworthy tracks such as “The Boogeyman”, “No Tomorrow”, “Davy Jones” (yeah, the one you think…) and “Open Letter” which doesn’t mean that the other tracks are not worth mentioning. Try it… You’ll love it!
