Τime Tripper is the brainchild of acclaimed French-Swedish singer Erik S. Björngard, who after achieving considerable success as a solo artist, decided to embark on a new musical journey. Björngard, known for his evocative folk/rock sound that earned him two CMA Awards for Best Male Performer and Best Album, and his international acclaim as a composer for several musicals, formedTime Tripper in 2024 with a vision to revive the magic of 80s AOR (Album-Oriented Rock).
Joining Björngard in this nostalgic venture are his close friends and seasoned musicians: Tom Fremont on guitars, Niklas Fremont on keyboards, Alan Bastard on bass, and Jimmy Montout on drums. Drawing inspiration from iconic bands like Europe, Honeymoon Suite, and Bon Jovi, Time Tripper aims to transport audiences back to an era when anthemic keyboard and guitar riffs, coupled with unforgettable choruses, ruled the airwaves and concert halls.
In a significant milestone, Time Tripper proudly signed with the Danish label Lions Pride Music, setting the stage for their eagerly anticipated debut album, scheduled for release on December 28, 2025.
