Herman Rarebell has released the first single from his upcoming self-titled album, “What About Love”, the video for which you can watch below.

The performance features the great Jim Vallance on guitar (the man with glasses sitting at the piano), who composed the song that became a big hit for Heart, as well as Howard Leese, the guitarist of Heart.

The drummer says: “Dear all! Here I am. Back with my friends and back with some new recordings. Feels very good! Please let us raise the question which became our first (new) single now: What About Love? The song is primarily known in its version by US rock band HEART (1985). We recorded our version for the upcoming album. I recorded this song with my friends Jim Vallance (original composer of this song for the band HEART) and Howard Leese on guitars (who is the original guitar player in HEART, too). More friends involved and also on guitars: Dann Huff, who is known for his work with Michael Jackson, Whitesnake and producer of Whitney Houston and Faith Hill. On bass guitar Bob Daisley (formerly with Black Sabbath), on keyboards Neil Carter of Gary Moore’s band, singer Michael Voss (producer of Michael Schenker), and Van de Forst on backing vocals – to be completed by yours truly Herman on drums! The Idea behind the song and video is bringing you the message of Love and Peace again! As there is so much hate around us, we think it is much needed and the right time to remind you again about the values of Love and Peace”.
