PRESS RELEASE: Chrysilia are preparing for well-known Dutch FeMME festival in October 2018, playing a full set on the main day at the main venue, while they are proud to release their new lyric video clip, “The Fifth Season”, that is actually the… fifth official clip by the band from Athens. Taken from their hugely successful debut album, “Et in Arcadia ego”, out now from Lion Music, this is a sensitive, minimalistic composition of the album’s producer, multi-talented Bob Katsionis with lyrics from main woman Chryso, who also plays the cello in this one. Chrysilia also proudly announce three new members; Naya Grana on piano and keyboards, a classical trained pianist with a special passion for heavy metal, which she showed in recent years in one-take full arrangement piano covers of metal classics, violinist Dimitris Katsoulis, main collaborator of Mark Yansen’s MaYan, who recently participated as a special guest at Epica’s 1000’th live show in Tilburg (NL), and bassist Stavros Karlis (former member of prog/power metallers “The Silent Wedding”). All new members share a common love for heavy metal and classical music, but also greek folk music, making Chrysilia’s future plans even more diverse and multi-dimensional.
