Cyanide 4 is one of the most hopeful Greek outfits for an international career. I’ve written this in the past and I say it once again now, in this EP review that is being released by the American label Demon Doll Records. The band is making a steady progress and personally I am of the opinion that it’s in the same leagues with such bands as Crashdiet, Hardcore Superstar, Crazy Lixx etc. The familiar sleaze rock n’ roll element (with its punk injection) is present throughout the 5 songs of this EP while Cyanide 4 is putting on a superb performance in the studio.
I am sure that every fan of the genre will love this bunch of songs although I must underline that Cyanide 4 is far better when it comes to a live environment as the show is absolutely stunning. I am already waiting for the full length album of the band and of course…the next live show!
Highlight: The ballad “Midnight Heat” should be an absolute hit.
