According to an interview to Deutsche Presse-Agentur, David Hasselhoff is going to record some heavy metal songs for his next studio album. “Why not?”, he said. “I do not have an album title yet, but it should read: ‘Everything is allowed’. I do everything. Because I can. Because I want to”, he added. Note that Hasselhoff’s singing career has been very successful in both Germany and Austria where his first solo album “Night Rocker” (1985) went to No.1. Also very successful were his second and third album, “Lovin’ Feelings” and “Looking For Freedom” respectively. Finally, in 2014 Hasselhoff appeared on Nova Rock Festival in Austria after (!) Iron Maiden and told the press that he is a fan of both Maiden and Metallica. “That’s the kind of music I like to hear”, he said.
