As it was reported, Def Leppard had embarked on its own rock cruise (which was unfortunately marked by the untimely death of Jimmy Bain). The most detailed Def Leppard Fan Site (DefLeppardUk.com) has come up with some details about Joe Elliott’s vocal problems: “The second show by the band in The Bahamas on the cruise ship MSC Divina as part of the Hysteria On The High Seas cruise. Running from 21st-25th January. An electric performance at 10:45pm ET. Due to Joe suffering from laryngitis the band only played a shortened 7 song set. Phil took lead vocals for two songs as did Last In Line singer Andrew Freeman. Eric Martin and Kip Winger also sang two songs together. Joe promised each fan at the show free tickets to a future Lep show and apologised to the audience”.
