Iron Maiden mascot Eddie’s “father” Derek Riggs is offering a design to a campaign to financially support Paul Di’Anno, who is preparing for a major surgery. The artist has designed a t-shirt which is being put up for sale with the proceeds going to support the former Maiden singer.
Derek Rigg’s Facebook page reads: “Paul Di’Anno is getting ready to face some serious surgery. The link below is for a fundraiser to help raise the rest of the money needed for his surgery and the rehab that will be needed after.
They have a white or grey shirt design available now and are in the process of figuring out a black design as well.
We are hoping that this fundraiser will be able to raise enough to cover the rest of his bills.
*note* We are not selling these shirts. Derek did the drawing, but they have to be purchased through the fundraiser link.
We really wish him the best possible outcome and hope that he will be walking again soon”.
