Power Metal! Starting from msec (stands for millisecond) one! When I listened to the first notes of “We won’t fall”, I simply had to smell the supreme playing and the double bass drumming and a voice that can fly, scorn and fight, amongst other things. The band from Thessalonica, Greece has released one of the best Power Metal albums over the last years!

Before starting to write down my review, I took a lil’ stroll over the net… Most reviews were praising and I’m all for it. I’d be a pile of crap if I stated otherwise. Just a(nother) msec, Helloween-and more “Starchild” is blasting out and I’m welded to the wall. Speed and power and “Nobody denies”… Just wanted to say that I read a fellow music editor’s review and he was saying the songs are kinda small in duration. Well, I have to say that this IS the magical part! The boys create a fantastic atmosphere inside five minutes and take our scalp as well!

Production is THE ONE IT SHOULD BE! One can crystal-clearly listen to every instrument on the album, tutti’s and crescendos are splendid, especially the drums sound majestic.

“Speak of the devil” and the magic is on… Totally Metallic, a bit Priest-lic, raged and blunt. Man, their live gigs would create chaos. Epical and lyrical “Chasing the wind” is another hymn on the list.

Twelve min long “Phantasmagoria” is a multi-song, featuring Power Metal themes and Teutonic technique. Last on the cat… a fabulous cover on “Holding out for a hero” (originally by Bonnie Tyler). The band owns it tons! Amazing album!
