Enemy Inside have unleashed a new kick-ass single & video, “Release Me”:
„Release me“ is a song about self-hatred and inwardly turned wrath and the longing to be released from this feeling to find inner peace. It’s about being relentlessly hard on yourself and no matter what you do and how much you improve, you will never be as perfect as you wish, because perfection is an illusion“ the front woman Nastassja Giulia quotes.
The video shows the band being tied up, trying to free themselves. The visuals switch between bright and dark. And just like the video, the song varies between hard parts, such as lower tuned riffs and a very catchy melodic hook line which will be stuck in your head forever.
Besides that, the band states that this is one of their favorite original songs. It demonstrates the band’s latest sound evolution, which has definitely done a step forward combining their signature sound with new musical elements.
A song which can be heard from hardcore metalheads to even non-metal fans.
