If you are from Sweden, music runs deep in your blood. Especially when it comes to death metal. Firespawn is a new band from a bunch of musicians who have many bands and records to show on their resumes. They were founded on 2014 as Fireborn but one year after they changed it into Firespawn, probably after discovering an American band with the same name, and now they released their first full-length album. The band’s members are L-G Petrov (Entombed A.D. – vocals), Victor Brandt (Entombed A.D. – guitars), Fredrik Folkare (Necrophobic, Unleashed – guitars), Alex Friberg (Necrophobic – bass) and Matte Modin (Skineater – drums). Recorded on Sweden during the summer, this album gives everything that a death metal fan would like. Like I said before, this country knows how to make excellent albums like that. Take some minutes and watch the videos for “The Emperor” and “Lucifer Has Spoken”, listen to the album, play it loud, get on the nerves of your neighbors with it.
