The Germans are back with an album that’s completely Power and even more multi-layered! It just can’t get more! Their brand new thing kicks off in the most splendid way, first two songs sound divine! Especially that “Rockstars” song, with its galloping style and powerful lyrics… “Crimson Dawn” did not drive me that crazy, yet everyone listening to it will admit it’s the brightest continuation of Helloween’s tradition. Then “66 warriors” enters, with its tribal parts and the operatic and Keeper-ish orchestrations; it’s a mighty impressive song.

Amazing production, totally “german” and clean-cut, maybe the best one for the band ever. I’m certain that Tobias Sammet has already fallen in love with the album style, together with Kai Hansen of course. When you get to “Sun in the dark” you’ll remember those words. Beautiful song, shiny and Rocksome! Okay, now that we reached the mainstream area, let’s take a listen at the most representing piece, AORish “Hero on video”! This is one heck of a cool song, dunno if anybody would expect such…

There are fourteen songs on this album and they all sound unique. Yeah, I know, there’s many of you out there thinking that this particular music is a bit smurfy. It’s all a matter of taste, yet, at the end of the day, my proposal stands; you gotta listen to this album! “Killer gear” is darker, featuring a killer intro… Try that one for size and let me know. There is plenty of inspiration here… and lots of GREat ideas.

“Rockin’ radio” and it’s “Rock, Rock the nation, Rock, Rock forever” now! Another sweet and charming track and a voyage to the Rock-Starship dimension… You might think they play what they feel like and you are totally right; “Terra liberty”, despite its rather Pop angle, is a speedy, melodic Metallic song… This is one VERY melodic album in general, one you’d listen to it with GREat pleasure.

Digipack edition includes another CD, featuring songs of the band performed by other bands! Killer Kewl, huh?
