Fuzzing Nation’s return to the recording streets. The Stoner rock trio from Greece recently released their second EP entitled “Into The Desert” which includes 4 new compositions.
Fuzzing Nation is Terry Moros on drums, Stavros Giannakakos on bass and Aggelos Ioanidis on vocals and guitar. If the names sound familiar to you, don’t be surprised since they are indeed musicians we have met in the past in well-known Greek metal bands (InnerWish / Sorrows Path etc.).
So in this short but quite comprehensive EP the trio presents four new compositions in the field of stoner rock. The influences of names like Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age and others are obvious but at the same time the sound of the band has a lot of personal touches, so we don’t have to deal with a clone band.
The muffled production and the volume give a traveling atmosphere to the whole material, yes like walking around in a desert and because I have been in a desert I confirm it, but it doesn’t stop there. Although simple technical compositions in the logic of the sound there are enough beautiful ideas for the listener to discover.
Waiting for a full release, I don’t know if it’s in the band’s plans of course, I consider “Into The Desert” another very good sample of writing from the band.
