During a recent interview on “Talk Louder” podcast, Graham Bonnet has confirmed that the next studio album from the Graham Bonnet Band will feature a special guest appearance by Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson.

“Bruce] did his vocal two months ago. He’s doing the last verse of the song, the last pre-chorus and then and then the chorus. And then he ad-libs after the end. And I’ve got the first verse to do with the pre-chorus and then the chorus”.

Bonnet also revealed the title of the song featuring Dickinson: “The Fifth Force Of Nature.” As he explained, the track explores existential and metaphysical themes.

“It’s about, is this reality or is it something else? That’s basically what it’s about,” Bonnet said.

The concept is inspired by scientific speculation surrounding a potential fifth fundamental force of nature. While the four known forces are gravitation, electromagnetism, and the strong and weak nuclear forces, some researchers believe they have detected evidence of a fifth force—an idea that could significantly alter our understanding of the universe.

Discussing the lyrical inspiration, Bonnet added: “They really think there is a fifth force of nature, and some scientists or whatever are trying to build this machine that will find that particular place. I looked it up, and it’s real. They’re actually doing that. It sounds ridiculous, I know, but they think that we are manipulated by something else or we’re not even here, which scares the fuck out of me.”

The forthcoming Graham Bonnet Band album is currently in production, with Bonnet preparing to record his remaining vocal sections. No release date has yet been announced.
