Fifth studio album for AOR group Hardline, in the ranks of which quite a lot notable musicians such as six-string titan Neal Schon of Journey have gone through. The leader of this hard rock gang is the permanent singer of Axel Rudi Pell in the recent years, Johnny Gioeli. A CV like the above makes you wait for something very good from Hardline. The truth is that we are talking about an album of the classic Hardline style which we are accustomed to in recent years after the departure of major players such as the above.
This is an album of melodic AOR, with compositions that sound very easy without the gem that can stick in the memory, with the necessary ballads ( «Take you home”) and a very good production, professional playing and of course the great advantage of the group: the voice of Gioeli. The best moments of the album are the tracks “Trapped In Muddy Waters”, “The World Is Falling Down” and “United We Stand”. My personal opinion is quite neutral about this album if we should have in our collection or not.
