All through the years, House of Lords has succeeded in delivering some really respectful and remarkable hard rock albums and if we take aside the mediocre “The Power and the Myth”, the rest of the bunch –without any single exception- is absolutely brilliant. And if you haven’t figured it out yet, the new House of Lords record called “Big Money” is yet another distinguished installment to the band’s rich catalogue. The new opus by James Christian and co. displays all those elements that a melodic rock album should have but the two most striking points of “Big Game” are by far the unbelievable catchy choruses and Christian’s flawless, raspy voice.

It doesn’t really matter if there has been more than 20 years since House of Lords were at the top of their game. It isn’t really important that the musical climate has changed and trends has come and gone Some things never change and with such songs as “First To Cry”, “Hologram” and “Once Twice”, House of Lords are back with a bang and all we can add is that you should definitely take a good listen to “Big Money”…it will take you back to those magical days of the late 80s.

Highlight: James Christian still carries proudly the House of Lords emblem and we couldn’t really ask for more…
