Today marks the 41st anniversary of Ian Gillan’s show in Greece, in Thessaloniki, with his solo band. On his Facebook page a photo of a concert ticket was posted, as well as a radio show that was broadcasted bacak then, which you can listen to below.
Greek radio producer Giannis Petridis and Kostas Zougris had the great singer in the studio on the radio show “Rock Club” on ERT (Greek public radio network).
Gillan talks about his career with Deep Purple, his solo stuff and picks favourite songs.
