InnerWish have released the first sample of the upcoming album to be released by Reigning Phoenix Music. The track is called “Cult Of The Blind” and let’s see what the band has to say about it:
We think it’s safe to say that INNERWISH got thrashy to a point here! It’s one of our heaviest tracks: it features some thrashy riffing and drumming, but it’s also melodic through the vocals and a combination of influences that actually turned out to be great…at least for us! The lyrics are about modern society where social media, “influencers” and media control offer a reality far removed from real life. All of this creates a world where the important has become unimportant and the basics of life become number one. It’s as if we are in a cult, deprived of individuality and thinking that leads to destruction.”
