The singer recorded Audioslave’s “Like A Stone” in a stripped down version followed by piano and some strings. Keyboardist Todd Waites asked the singer to contribute to his solo album “Cowgirls And Rodeos” with this song. Note that Waites lost his one arm from the shoulder down when he was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 14 and he calls himself “the one hand keyboardist”.
