The movie / biography of the legendary Ramones singer, based on the book “I Slept With Joey Ramone” will become a reality after the partnership between Netflix and STXFilms.
The role of Joey will be played by Pete Davidson, while the production of the film will be co-managed by the singer’s estate as well as Rosegarten Films. Jason Orley, who has previously worked with Davidson in 2019 on “Big Time Adolescence”, takes over the director’s duties.

“‘I Slept With Joey Ramone’ is a great rock anthem that will make an equally great rock biopic, set apart by a universal story of family”, he adds.
