Paul McCartney‘s appearance at a Hillary Clinton fundraiser last night ended with an all-star version of “Hey Jude” featuring Jon Bon Jovi and Jimmy Buffett. The event, held at Buffett’s estate in Sag Harbor, reportedly cost $25,000 a ticket – prompting McCartney to joke that “this is the first time that I’ve paid to hear myself sing.”
His four-song set began with the Wings hit “Jet,” followed by two other Beatles songs, “Can’t Buy Me Love” and “Lady Madonna.”
Bon Jovi sang “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” from 2005’s Have a Nice Day, and joined Buffett for a rendition of the Van Morrison favorite “Brown Eyed Girl” and Buffett’s “Margaritaville.”
