The story of the band begun in 2004 when the current lineup was completed, after Martin Bengtsson, who briefly played bass in Arch Enemy, and was also a member of Armaggedon, another project led by Mike Ammott, joined. “In Fire” is their second studio album that likes playing traditional teutonic heavy metal, that will bring Accept in mind, while it doesn’t lack catchy melodies, and guitar solos.

What you get with “In Fire” is a very good compilation of songs, some of them are superb, that won’t take long before they take over the listener’s brain. Being veterans, Lechery, know what to do with their material better than anybody else, as well as what their songs need to stand out. So, don’t expect useless exaggeration, or pointless show off, but on the contrary the majesty of simplicity, which is driven by a guitar riff, and a melody which climaxes on the guitar solos, where both Bengtsson and Nordstrandh have done excellent work.

So, if you are into traditional metal, and you’d like to add another good album to your collection, then I guess “In Fire” is a good choice.
