On September 15, the American magazine Creem will be released again after 33 years and will be distributed only to subscribers.

The magazine started in Detroit in 1969 and featured some of the biggest talents in music journalism, such as Lester Bangs, Cameron Crowe, Patti Smith, Robert Christgau, Jaan Uhelszki and others.

Subscription to Creem comes with access to the magazine’s digital archive, which includes all issues of its twenty-year run (1969-1989), 224 in number and 69,000 photos.

Along with the magazine its mascot, Boy Howdy!, returns as an animated cartoon.
