A recording where Lemmy participates and was considered lost surfaced on YouTube yesterday, August 23rd. it’s the song “The Mask” a country duet with Lydia Kay, which will be released on her solo album “Black & Gold”. Lemmy was working on that song since 1979 and finished it 30 years later with Kay! It reminds of Willie Nelson’s ballads, or Johnny Cash’s recordings with Rick Rubin. The album will be released in October featuring 20 songs, both originals and covers, and it will feature guest contributions from John Legend, Jeff Beck, Brian Wilson, Tedeschi Trucks, Rita Coolidge, Jackson Browne and Jenny Lewis
