The Greek thrashers from Athens return again after 1 and a half year with their new album release that goes under the title of “Duality Of Man”. The album contains 11 songs and it clocks up to 45 minutes.
“Duality Of Man” is the continuation from their previous work “Zero Hour”, but this one is thrash-ier, darker and it contains catchy melodic choruses. The album kicks off with “Demon’s Hunt”, that proves a great opener and then leads us to “Guardian Knight”, a pure live song opener which was also filmed for a music video! The album continues in the same thrash tone.
Once again we have a series of guests that do appear and offers the album some highlights, like the fantastic duet between Vagelis Kollios and Blaze Bayley (Blaze Bayley, Ex-Iron Maiden) on “The Last Of My Light” which also features David Ellefson (Megadeth) on bass. Other guests that appear are Michael Gilbert and Steve Conley (Flotsam And Jetsam), each performing an amazing lead guitar solo on “Broken Dreams” and “The Final Message” respectively.
Other exceptional moments on the album are thrash tunes like: “The End Of Hope”, “The Crescent” and “Inside My Eyes”. Also pay attention to the “slow” song of the album “Since I Remember”. It slows down things really nice before the “epilogue” of the album.
In a nutshell, “Duality Of Man” is a great thrash album and I am sure that not only Memorain fans are going to enjoy it. This band has a bright future ahead! Make sure you catch them on tour!
