For twleve days in the States Scorpions will not have James Kottak behind the drums, but Motorhead’s Mikkey Dee, who is filling in due to the Germans’ drummer health problems. Scorpions singer, Klaus Meine, said: “We would like to continue our ‘Return To Forever’ tour with James, but we have to realize that his health is priority. We wish James a speedy recovery and he will be back to rock you later in the fall! We look forward to seeing all our fans this month.” Mikkey Dee was initially announced for playing at the Thin Lizzy “Jailbreak” anniversary dates, but Judas Priest’s Scott Travis took his place. Remember that James Kottak was arrested in Dubai in 2014 and was off the band for almost 8 months.
