Talking with Danny Young, Gluecifer’s drummer, on his podcast, Dr Gong’s Drumcast, Nicke Andersson revealed that the Hellacopters are currently working on a new album, the first since “Head Off” in 2008.
Danny Young: Will there be another Imperial State Electric album?
Nicke Andersson: “I did Lucifer and then we are working in a new Hellacopters album… I guess it’s not a secret anymore, and if it was I just blew it!”
Danny Young: Well, I wanted to ask you about that, but you said it yourself…
Nicke Andersson: …yeah, we are working on a new album.
Danny Young: That’s great news…
Nicke Andersson: Maybe this should be called “By The Grace Of God” instead… it would be way more appropriate.
