A few days ago after the infamous incident of Phil Anselmo’s Nazi salut and his “white power” during Dimebash (an annual concert in memory of Dimebag) on January 22nd, the singer stated that he was joking because on that particular night we was drinking… white wine and that was an inside joke. The video with the whole thing has become viral on the internet and has been reproduced from all rock and metal related websites with thousands of comments. The video was originally uploaded on YouTube without the salute, but the user who did it later re-uploaded the entire thing saying that it was a very sad moment that ruined the whole night. On the other hand Anselmo published the following comment: “Some of y’all need to thicken up your skin. There’s plenty of fuckers to pick on with a more realistic agenda. I fucking love everyone, I fucking loathe everyone, and that’s that. No apologies from me.”
