Οι Kansas συμπληρώνουν 50 χρόνια καριέρας το 2023 και κυκλοφόρησαν τη συλλογή “ Another Fork In The Road – 50 Years Of Kansas”, που περιέχει τραγούδια από ολόκληρη τη δισκογραφία του, καθώς και μια νέα εκτέλεση του “Can I Tell You”, το οποίο συμπεριλαμβανόταν στο ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ του γκρουπ το 1974.
«Το “Can I Tell You” μπορεί να μην είναι η μεγαλύτερη επιτυχία μας, αλλά είναι ένα από τα σημαντικότερα τραγούδια στην καριέρα των Kansas», λέει ο κιθαρίστας Richard Williams. «Ήταν το πρώτο demo που στείλαμε στον Don Kirshner και οδήγησε στο να εξασφαλίσουμε δισκογραφικό συμβόλαιο. Οπότε, πενήντα χρόνια μετά, μας θεωρήσαμε ταιριαστό να κλείσουμε τον κύκλο και να το ηχογραφήσουμε ξανά με την τρέχουσα σύνθεση».

Το “Another Fork On The Road” θα κυκλοφορήσει σαν τριπλό Digipak με βιβλιαράκι που θα περιέχει κείμενα από τον Jeff Wagner και φωτογραφίες, αλλά και σπάνιο υλικό από το αρχείο του συγκροτήματος, που επιμελήθηκε ο Phil Ehart.
Επιπλέον, με αφορμή την 50η τους επέτειο οι Kansas θα περιοδεύσουν στις ΗΠΑ το 2023
