These Scots surely are exceptional musicians. They only make good music, paying full attention to every detail; their high skilled technique has placed them to a decent spot in prog rock/metal. “XXV” is another fine (concept) album, which will satisfy the fans. The progressive and, at the same time, space-y atmosphere are combined amazingly and the final result is effortlessly wonderful.

The problem I see, regarding Pallas, is their weakness to become more popular. It is obvious that something is missing towards that area and I don’t think that their main/exclusive focus is to perfectly present their work, technically and musically. It is possible they can get better, concerning the composing part, where they are far from perfect. I believe then they will be ready for the big step up.

Nevertheless I must point out that the progressive audience, which always has its own tastes, can appreciate and love this release.
