After 7 years of discoggraphical absence, the Seattle band will release their new album “Gigaton” on March 27th from Monkeywrench Records, owned by Republic Records / Universal Music Group. The band itself took over the production along with Josh Evans. “Making this record was a long journey. It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times”, Mike McCready says in the press release. Note that the last album by Pearl Jam was “Lightning Bolt” from 2013.
