A new autobiography is on the way to remind readers that Phil Collins is not dead yet. Though at times, it sure seems like he got close. The book, titled Not Dead Yet and due Oct. 25, promises to explore the longtime Genesis drummer and singer’s storied career, as well as his “three failed marriages, his alcoholism and his ill health.”
He first mentioned the memoir last October, saying it would provide a “warts and all” look at his life and career “from [his] point of view.” Not Dead Yet will mark Collins’ second book project, after The Alamo and Beyond: A Collector’s Journey, which highlighted his extensive collection of artifacts from Texas’ Battle of the Alamo. The new book aims to provide more insight into Collins as a person.
