Sabaton Cyprus

The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works of Cyprus, Giannis Karousos, and the Deputy Director of Postal Services, Pavlos Pavlidis, visited today the storage facilities of Sabaton in Limassol, where they met with the band’s founding member, lyricist and bassist, Pär Sundström.

Sabaton chose to move the base for their e-commerce to Cyprus and in this context created the warehousing facilities for the products they export abroad in Limassol. The minister was informed by Pär Sundström that based in Cyprus, the group trusts and utilizes the modern services provided by the Cyprus Post by reliably sending to its fans, on an annual basis, thousands of items abroad.

“For more than 2 years, we have been sending products from Cyprus and I am proud of the team I have on the island. It is noteworthy that even during the coronavirus pandemic we were able to send more Sabaton merch than in previous years. We achieved this as the team members worked in parallel from both the office and the warehouse”.

“I am glad that the local authorities appreciate our presence on the island and we are very honored by your visit to talk about how we can further improve our service,” said Sundström.
