Mat Sinner must surely be one of the most busy and workaholic musicians as he manages to be constantly in the forefront –both with Sinner and Primal Fear but also with all his remarkable productions and outside collaborations- in the past 30 or so years. Maybe, it will come as a shock to some of you out there but Sinner as a coherent outfit has released no less than 17 studio albums! Just imagine how much bigger that number would be if Mat Sinner didn’t have as a priority his musical endeavors with Primal Fear…

“One Bullet Left” carries on, essentially, from where “Crash & Burn” left off. Sinner displays once again its hard rock side –I guess, Mat Sinner satisfies his metallic needs with Fear- without omitting, though, to put forth a few teutonic, melodic heavy metal traces here and there. Mat Sinner’s big love for Thin Lizzy is once again obvious on some tracks and you could have sworn that you listen to some Phil Lynnott licks in there. Nevertheless, “One Bullet Left” is not only a respectable album but it’s one of those records that should find its way to every heavy metal collection around the world…after all, Mat Sinner keeps on making records for the metal fans, too.

Highlight: Sinner started as a pure metal outfit, shifted to melodic hard rock, returned to metal only to depart for a hard n’ heavy sound of high level. Not bad, at all.
