Talking to EMP Rock Invasion Kerry King confessed that Tom Araya is unclear about his intensions with Slayer. Specifically, he was asked about Araya’s recent comments that it gets harder and harder every year to come back out on the road that a lot of people considered as thinking about retirement. “He’s very unclear. That’s just how he is. I don’t know if he likes holding his cards in his pocket or what”, said King. As for Slayer’s future the guitarist seems uncertain: “I don’t have an answer. I’m holding off a lot of things I want to do at home, just because I don’t know if I’m going to be working in two years. I’m going to be working, hopefully in Slayer. What else am I going to do?” However, Slayer are playing in festivals around Europe for the remaining of the summer and they start touring the States in September.
