Latin America has always been a friendly place towards heavy metal culture and almost all of its countries can boast for remarkable metal scenes in terms of quantity and releases quality. The vast majority of these bands though, honor the Spanish language but during the past few years the global revival of the sound has driven many of them towards the use of English. Steel Night hail from Mexico and Fight Till the End is the band’s debut, released by the German Iron Shield label. This album holds definitely no surprises since the cover and song titles have already drawn a clear picture towards the band’s intentions and musical direction. Classic heavy metal with traces of epic feeling and a N.W.O.B.H.M. aura, flirting also with the power metal sound. The ingredients are the expected. Iron Maiden, Saxon and Judas Priest, almost in equal proportions. At least it is well executed and not clumsy, placing it ahead of its competition and making it worthy for a spin or two by the friends of this saturated scene and sound.
