Let’s start from the basic stuff: Steel Panther are Living Legends! Their first album and the accompanying video-clips were awesome! Now that we have underlined the obvious, let’s head right into the presentation of the band’s sophomore effort with the intellectual title (and the state of the art cover sleeve). Don’t expect, of course, thorough analysis and an in depth look into the world of “Balls Out”. This is not Dream Theater we are talking about; this is a party, glam rock n’ roll band that pays tribute to the legendary 80s and embodies the essence of Van Halen, Poison and Crue (just to name a few). Add to all these, some of the most satirical lyrics that ever appeared in the business and you get the picture.
Having said that, I just point down some of the song titles of “Balls Out” in order to turn the spotlight to the majesty of Steel Panther: “17 Girls In A Row”, “It Won’t Suck Itself”, “I Like Drugs”, “Let Me Cum In”, “Supersonic Sex Machine”.
