A big shock for all the classic rock fans as Ted McKenna died suddenly and quite unexpectedly during an elective operation that he underwent today. He died from an haemorrhage despite the efforts of a surgical team. McKenna has played with MSG, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Rory Gallagher and many others. He was 68. R.I.P.
