Tesseract is a band from England that has a very strange story. The band members met at gigs. They kept contact through internet and eventually the band was built in the mind of the guitarist “Acle Kahney”.

“One” is the bands debut album. In the late 2010 they released the EP “Concealing Fate” and in the early 2011 the single “Nascent” hit the stores.
In “One” we won’t find only “Concealing Fate” (which has 6 parts) and “Nascent”, but  there are also 4 previously unreleased songs.

The sound of TesseracT is certainly unique and in many aspects it’s genius. All 5 band members are excellent musicians and created a very good unit. The melodic guitar lines, especially in “Concealing Fate”, I do not think will leave anyone indifferent.

I really believe that TesseracT is the natural evolution of progressive metal. In many ambient parts are reminiscent of the depth and the sound that “Pink Floyd” first created. And of course, influences by bands like “Meshuggah” are more than evident. Their sound is complicated but personally they did not tire or bored me at all.

TesseracT with their first album create many obligations and expectations for themselves. It seems to me that they are one of the leading bands of the modern progressive metal genre.

P.S. I Love the Artwork
