Ultimate Jam Night at the famous Whisky A Go Go paid the ultimate tribute to the late David Zablidowsky, bassist in Adrenaline Mob, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Soto, who was recently killed in a road accident while touring. A lot of artists showed up to honor David Z, as he was known, Dee Snider, Sebastian Bach, Jesse Hughes, Mike Portnoy, Rikki Rockett, Dug Pinnick, Jeff Scott Soto, Bruce Kulick. David’s brother was also present playing in some of the songs. The two of them were playing in a band together, Z02. To continue his legacy, the David Z Scholarship Fund has been created for the music school at Brooklyn College. Check out two vides of the night with Dee Snider singing the Twisted Sister classic “The Price” and the recently formed supergroup Sons Of Apollo featuring τους Jeff Scott Soto, Bumblefoot, Billy Sheehan, Mike Portnoy and Derek Sherinian playing “And The Cradle Will Rock” (Van Halen) and “Burn” (Deep Purple) with Soto getting very sentimental in the introduction of the songs.
