The three Triumph members, Rick Emmett, Gil Moore and Mike Levine, recently reunited in the studio after a long time to record a song for the first’s solo album. After the shows in Sweden and Oclahoma in 2008 the band didn’t make the return everyone expected due to the recession. In a recent interview at Niagara Frontier Publications Levine said that the three of them meet three or four times per year but the band won’t reunite: “The shows went well and we had a tour booked and then the recession hit and we decided to wait in the weeds and see what happens, and we are still waiting, so to speak. We talk about it every now and then, but I doubt you will see us play again.”
