Ugly Kid Joe have released the second single, “Kill The Pain”, from their new album “Rad Wings Of Destiny”, out October 21st via Metalville Records.
The album was produced by Mark Dodson, who worked with the group on their biggest hit album “America’s Least Wanted”, which celebrate its 30th anniversary this year.
“Kill The Pain” is about addiction and according to guitarist Dave Fortman “the lyrics are written from the perspective of peer pressure and outside influences that keep so many people from getting clean. The line ‘beautiful we lay here under the sky, watching the loneliness die’ always felt like the perfect metaphor for me to define this song. Kill the pain and if only for a moment, end the suffering of addiction”.
